Show Next Weekend....Flyer Posted

Just a reminder that we are playing our last show for a little bit next Sunday and it should be awesome. We get to jam with Foundation, Harm's Way, Dead Icons and Face Reality. The show got moved from the Metal Frat to the Magic Stick Lounge. Also, it is now a matinee, 3:00 p.m. We go on first so get there early if you wanna catch our set. While we're not playing shows for a couple months, we WILL be busy figuring out how we are going to release the 4 songs we recorded last month. As of now we are leaning towards a one-sided 12". So we'll be figuring out layout stuff and trying to see if anyone wants to help us release it. If not, we'll be saving up our pennies to do it ourselves. Either way, we would love for the record to be out by year's end. We'll see. At any rate, there are a ridiculous amount of great shows happening in Michigan right now; we would recommend the following:
August 13th at the Atlas Bar in Hamtramck-Goddamn reunion with Wells, End Trails and Shudders, a new band with our friends Scott and Dylan
August 26th at Trestain's House-Chris's 30th birthday bash, Let It Die reunion, Louder Than Bombs, etc. plus sumo wrestling and bounce houses. Get rowdy!
September 5th at Old Jamestown in Saginaw-Wolves in the Throne Room, Thou, Cloud Rat, Beast in the Field, and Isenblast
Also, our friend Andrew is also reportedly doing a couple shows at Refuge in Dearborn. August 6th will probably be Raindance (ex-Outrage) and September 1st is Devotion (ex-Go It Alone). Keep your eyes and ears peeled for deets on those.
Anyway, I'm sure we will see you at some of these jams, if not next Sunday.
Hearts,
Scobie/Rev

Between Earth and Sky

If there is one thing our band is not shy about, it's our love for Trial, and their frontman Greg Bennick. For the past couple of years Greg has been involved in a band called Between Earth and Sky. They've released a couple songs, and to my knowledge have played very few; if any, shows. They certainly have not toured. At any rate, their new record "Of Roots and Wings" is out now on Refuse Records from Poland. We highly recommend tracking down a copy (it is being released in the US soon I believe). In the meantime, here is a mediafire link. I highly recommend you download this thing and give it your undivided attention. It is more melodic than Trial, but Bennick's philosophical lyrics are no less potent this time around, and it is invigorating to hear his voice again.
